Alligator and Swan Decoys For Geese

The Canadian goose is pest. While I like to look at them, most of this site seeing is preferably done at a distance. In other words, I don’t really want these birds on my lawn or dock. Why you ask? Well, these pesky birds seem to leave a lot of poop around and don’t clean up after themselves. Because summer is rapidly approaching, I must get this problem under control because I have many important guests coming over throughout the months. Luckily for me, this is not my first rodeo. I know how to keep these Canadian geese under control. So if I am so good at deterring them, why do I have to work on it every year? Well, I am lazy to be quite honest.

In the past, I have had a lot of success with alligator and swan decoys. The swan decoy is a great Canadian goose deterrent because the two birds are enemies. The swan is a very aggressive bird that doesn’t like to share its stomping grounds. I don’t think I need to explain why a realistic looking alligator decoy would work for repelling geese. Anyways, I you are short on money; I would just try one of these measures to see if it works. If it doesn’t, then try another method in combination with the first. If neither of these methods seems to do the trick, you may want to try the terror eyes decoy.
