Hunting Crossbows And Customer Service

The point of this article is to enlighten future crossbow owners of the importance of purchasing quality. Of course we all know that there is not a soul out there that does not demand quality. But that is the battle, finding an affordable hunting crossbow that will last. The most affordable brands out there are Barnett, Horton, and Parker. These are the most enticing brands as many already know. These days one can purchase a crossbow anywhere from three to four hundred dollars, but do you know what you are paying for? The past couple of months I have been searching for this information as well. Out of all of the factors that I have examined, the most important factor would have to be customer service. Yep folks, believe it or not, you will more than likely need to contact customer service at some time or another for some help with your xbow. That my friends is why Excalibur, Parker, bowtech, and PSE are more pricy. Well, that and they are made better. Think about it, you spend five hundred dollars for a Buck Commander, a great xbow by the way, and it breaks. When you try to contact customer service for weeks with no reply, you will wish you had gone with another brand. That is not to put anything against Barnett as they are a great company. I own three Barnett crossbows, including a Barnett Jackal Crossbow by the way. Also, they have even extended their warranty to five years now.  Five hundred dollars is a lot of money to be spending on something for it to fail or have bad customer service. All I can say is that there are several  hunting crossbow companies out there that have lifetime warranties on their products. I don’t know about you folks, but I would rather spend the extra hundred dollars on a product with a lifetime warranty, so if it breaks I can get replacement parts. That is why these days I am leaning more and more towards parker. I really like the parker tornado for the price and the bow itself. Great speeds and great design make this bow my top pick. Throw in the great parker customer service and it is almost impossible to beat for the money. Basically folks, I want to stress the importance that the number on the price tag goes a little further in depth than the features on the crossbow itself.
