Since deer season is approaching, I would like to discuss rifle scopes. Every year right before bow season, I pick up my rifle to sight it in. Every year it’s usually dead on too, mostly because I take care of my equipment and that it’s a Zeiss. However, one of my other rifles needs a scope. So I went out the other day and looked at the selection at my local sporting goods store and couldn’t find anything that really suited my tastes. I didn’t really have he money to buy a nice scope like a Nikon or Leupold. I didn’t want a BSA or a center point, so the next step that I took was to look online for some great deals.
Once on the internet, I checked out the Sportsman’s Guide and they had a great selection. One of the main scopes that I was interested in was the Barska Scope. This scoped looked really good and had some great customer reviews. However, I knew that with sportsman’s Guide that there aren’t a whole lot of negative comments on the site. Now this may be that all of the reviews are biased towards the guide, or that the products that they sell are really great. That part of the deal is up to you to decide. Regardless, I was not going to take just a few comments as my view on the product – I had to do a lot more research. So what did I do next, I went to the forums and internet for some good data on barska scope reviews. I found that most of the people had no problem with the scope – that is – for the amount that it cost. They said that the lenses were clear and that it had good magnification. Some said that at a high magnification, the scope would become fuzzy and dim. However, this is quite common with lower level scopes. For the money, it seems that it is hard to beat a barska scope.
